Burj Khalifa


 

Burj Khalifa it's the most popular tourists attraction in Dubai, this skycraper is best known of being the tallest building in the world. Burj Khalifa means literally Khalifa tower, in honour of the ruler of Abu Dhabi and president of the United Arab Emirates, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. It is located in downtown of Dubai, an area filled with high-rises buildings. 

The architectural height of Burj Khalifa is 828 meters, which is measured to the top of the spire. Before 2010, Burj Khalifa's height has long been kept as a secret in order to prevent it from being surpassed by potential competitors. As of 2019, Burj Khalifa has been holding the crown of World's Tallest Building for 10 years and it will keep the crown for another 4 to 5 years. Aside this record Burj Khalifa holds six other world records.Burj Khalifa is also the tallest freestanding structure in the world, has the highest number of stories, has the highest occupied floor, has the highest outdoor observation deck, has the elevator with longest travel distance, and has the tallest service elevator in the world. The tower is used for offices, hotels, restaurants and for residences. The highest floors are also used for public sightseeing. 

Burj Khalifa is built on a shamrock-shaped footprint, making the tower seen like a letter 'Y' from above in the air, this shape derived from desert lily, a local plant, the tower's cross section area reduces gradually as it rises. This shape is used for the stability of the building and because of the commercial reasons.

    It's all very interesting but ... it is blatantly obvious that the text has been mostly copied. It's virtually mistake-free and also too long, which I have commented on so many times.

Syrian authorities said that they have begun rationing fuel as a result of the blockage of the Suez canal, delaying crucial shipments and worsening the country's oil shortages. Syria is suffering from civil war since 2011 and faces a serious economic crisis. It already announced a more than 50% rise in the price of petrol. Is lying morally wrong?

In my opinion lying is not morally wrong when you don't cross some boundaries. For example white lies are harmless, because the are generally told to avoid hurting someone's feelings and creating some useless conflicts. But of course they are  lies that cannot be forgiven and are morally wrong. An example of such lies are those that can significantly change some situation for example in relationship. Lying in relationship is wrong becuse when you lie you change the way how people see you and you are trying to be someone that you are not. To sum up, lying is not wrong when it's a white lie or when it don't affect some important situations, but lying about yourself in relationships is wrong and for a longer period of time it will only cause harm.
